Aaron Macker
Aaron, a/k/a “Macker,” is a proud Skook and a true hometown original. As the Leading Knight Captain of the Elks, he brings dedication, leadership, and heart to everything he does.
Aaron serves up smiles as the resident Sub-Zero ice cream mixologist, crafting endless frozen flavor combinations with skill and creativity.
Known for his bounding smile and genuine pride in delivering frozen delights, Aaron turns every visit into a fun, flavorful experience that keeps customers coming back for more.
John Yeager
John, a/k/a “Jobo,” discovered his love for ice cream early on—thanks to a childhood mishap when his mother accidentally over-froze his milky sippy cup. That frosty moment sparked a lifelong passion, leading him to explore frozen delights across more than 140 countries.
His global ice cream journey eventually brought him to the purity and complex flavors of liquid nitrogen-crafted treats.
Driven to share this unique experience, Jobo founded the local Tri-State Sub-Zero shop, turning his passion into a mission to bring custom-made, flash-frozen wonders to ice cream lovers everywhere.

STEM is at Our Core
Armed with a chemistry degree, Jerry Hancock wanted to build an ice cream store that would excite the imagination of a generation. There were plenty of Kid or sports-themed Restaurants. His goal was to create a local Exploratorium in every neighborhood.
States of Matter is where we started. We knew to make the most custom ice cream we had to start with a liquid state. Flavors don’t dissolve into solids.
This interaction allows students to experience a practical application of states of matter experiments. No other restaurant incorporates the practical application of physical sciences.
